Summary: We are a group of artists painting together in the Adirondacks for a week. It was the perfect size and price for us. The front porch was fantastic with its swing and lots of seating, up on a hill set back from the lake with a large house between the two. There is a walk through the woods to a dock that we swam from. The living room is the size of a tiny bedroom, it was disappointing but looking back at the photos it’s as they showed. The dining room was a great size for us. The kitchen had what we needed and the pantry was nice to have. We had issues with an out of reach smoke alarm going off 5 times during our first night but we called, they came the next morning and replaced it. It’s a 10 min walk to town and some of us enjoyed taking the boat ride/tour of Raquette lake on the Durant. We made reservations for dinner at the Hedges Resort which was very nice.
