Positive: The hotel’s greatest strength is its friendly staff. Every single team member treats guests with genuine respect and kindness. The property offers many family-friendly activities, and both the indoor and outdoor pools are a real advantage outside the high season.
Negative: The hotel does not meet 4-star standards in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. Tableware in the restaurant is not properly clean (especially plates), and the apartment shows visible signs of wear. The rooms are cleaned daily, but only superficially. The food also falls short of a 4-star level. All juices are artificial, and the same applies to the coffee. While the selection is extensive, the quality of the food is lacking.

Positive: We have stayed one week in Picafort Palace late September, everything was perfect. Location - 10 min. walk to the seaside, good breakfast, friendly staff. Every evening there were some shows. I can highly recomment this hotel. We had a room with balcony, with a view to a swimming pool.

Positive: Very clean hotel, the room was spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, with many shops nearby and 5min walk to the beach. There were plenty of sunbeds and no mad dash in the morning to reserve - no matter the time of day, you will always get a bed. Bar staff were extremely friendly and remembered your favourite drink. What made our holiday was the entertainment team. They were exceptional - so enthusiastic, great with the children, and there was always something to do. Kids club was amazing; there was a science morning, cooking, tshirt painting, pirates day, pony riding etc. Our daughter loved it, and was made feel very welcome and made lovely friends. Night time entertainment was fabulous and enjoyed by the entire family. Our favourite was the magic show and the acrobats. Perfect hotel for families as entertainment finished up around 10:30 most evenings.
Negative: Lady at reception was quite rude when we were checking in. We had booked a room with a garden view but I had requested to upgrade. When I realised that the upgrade was to the same spec of room but just a pool view, I decided to keep the original room. I was then told that the garden view was in fact a view on to the street. Be aware when by the pool that lifeguards don’t come on duty until 11am but the pool is open from 9am. They are often performing other tasks such as collecting empty cups from beside sunbeds. I noticed they were regularly chatting with other employees and not observing the pool area. There was an incident when a young boy fell beside the pool and hit his head. When I realised that it was a serious injury, I went to alert the lifeguard who was busy looking at her phone and did not see the incident occurring. She then proceeded down the steps to ask why I had called her. Approximately 5 minutes had passed from the fall to the lifeguard attending to the boy. An ambulance was called for the child, such was the severity of the fall, and in the hour that the lifeguard was attending to the child, the pool remained open with no lifeguard supervision. Be mindful of this when children are playing in the pool as I don’t believe they are as observant as they should be.
