Positive: Excellent location in a quiet street but nearby supermarkets, restaurants, banks, night street market, and buses station. Very kind staff.
Negative: There was not breakfast service due to the low season but is understandable. However there was not a notification till I asked.
Summary: Peaceful and beautiful place to stay.

Positive: Very pleasant stay at Canaan Guesthouse, located very close to the bus station and the night market. We enjoyed breakfast every day for 60 baht and were able to get our laundry done for 35 baht / kg. The hosts are very friendly, speak English well, and try to help when you have questions about nearby attractions and how to get to them. There is a filtered water tap for drinking water, which you'd need to find yourself.
Negative: Our first showers were cold, because we weren't told about a switch in the room we needed to turn on in order to have hot water. Trash bins (containing toilet paper) haven't been cleaned during our stay, but I'm sure they'd clean it if you specifically ask for it.

Positive: Canaan Guesthouse is right behind the Kanchanaburi Bus Terminal. The room was very clean. There were additional services like laundry (35thb/kg) and rental scooters (250thb-300thb/day).
Negative: The lighting in the room was dimmer than I would have liked.
Summary: Canaan Guesthouse is very good value for money with a fantastic location.
