Summary: We really loved the location. Especially heading down de gracht a few minutes and being in pure nature was very peaceful. The roof terrace was also enjoyable. Communication with the host was helpful. The kitchen could have had more cutlery and the garden could have been cleaned up more. In general I would highly recommend this accomodation especially because its superb position between beautiful Den Haag and peaceful nature.

Summary: Excellent location!! Convenient to everything. Stairs could be an issue with seniors and kids. Beautiful old property, but could be cleaner. That being said, we definitely would consider coming back.

Summary: Our group of six truly enjoyed our stay at this home. The location was so cute! Right on a canal in the small town center with the boat lock and bridges right in front of the house. There were a couple of cafes and bars right next door with great outdoor terraces on the water, and we didn't have any issue with noise from them in the evenings. The grocery store is literally right around the corner, and across the canal is a delicious Dutch pancake house. Our host, Giampaolo, was very easy to work with, and we were able to retrieve the key from a lockbox so we weren't required to meet someone to pick up the key. Daytime parking in the neighborhood is easy to find under the square or on the street. But be aware it's in 2 hour blocks, and you need a blue, square parking disc to indicate what time you parked (they may be able to sell you one at the grocery store). Nighttime parking is not time-limited and was easy to find on the street behind the house. The house itself was well-appointed, comfortable and roomy. We also enjoyed the private garden with table and chairs out back. If we need to stay in Leidschendam again, I will definitely try to book this property again!!
