Positive: Such a gem in Schoemanspoort next to Grobbelaars river. Loved it! Especially the animal family.
Negative: Just a note on the Lover's Nest cabin. The mix of hot and cold water in the shower is quite tricky. Dont seem to find a blend. It.is either very hot or very cold. Perhaps just check this out? Otherwise, everything was absolutely great! Hope to see you soon.

Positive: Location because it was quiet, close to the Caves, and was on a stream so we could swim in rock pools. The view from our chalet was perfect. We loved the collection of friendly dogs, cats, birds, the pet meerkat and the not so friendly geese :). We also enjoyed using the outside facilties for the barbeque and dining outside with views of the stream and mountain side.
Negative: The sliding door to the bathroom was not a good fit.

Positive: The animals and the natural haven that cango retreat has is both beautiful and tranquil.
Negative: The taps didn't open properly (full stream) making it hard to fill the basin and bath outside.(filling up the basin took a long time. The hot water tap would sometimes stop working and turn directly into cold water. So one moment I would be taking a warm shower and the next the water would turn ice cold. It was hard to make a normal breakfast with eggs as the cabin did not have a pan for frying only pots and an airfryer. (Neither are suited for frying an egg-this was frustrating because the place was self catering and didn't give any other options for food.) The sliding door to the accommodation was not able to lock.

Positive: We had some power issues with no power at the unit. The staff however went out of their way to help in the absence of the owners who had a family emergency. My only gripe is that general maintenance can improve.
