The house was originally three cottages that have been brought together, retaining many original features, including fireplaces and exposed brick with timber framed walls. In addition to the house, the space where a fourth cottage stood forms a large parking area. The spacious gardens are laid to lawn, with various trees and shrubs, and a lovely old brick wall.
