Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Grit and Grace. It was the perfect secluded location to enjoy an unplugged weekend. The property is clean and well kept with plenty of amenities. The homeowner was friendly and easy to contact with any concerns. We are looking forward to going back.

Summary: We booked this place because my parents were travelling from Canada and wanted them to experience Texas life. It was perfect in every way, so peaceful sitting on the porch watching the cows! It was beautifully decorated inside and Nitsie was a wonderful host. Thank you for allowing us to make many more family memories!

Summary: Girls trip to Canton! We had a wonderful time. The house is beautifully decorated, welcoming, warm and relaxing. The owner was available for us and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We will definitely be back!

Summary: Words cannot express how impressive this property is… We were farm/ranch people growing up, but live in the city for work. This hidden gem in the country was beyond amazing! We spent so much time just “being” and enjoying sitting outside under the stars, breathing fresh air, listening to the beautiful sounds of nature and just talking and reconnecting with each other. Nistie was truly the most attentive, kind, thoughtful and welcoming host we have ever had! This place exudes her attention to detail and love of caring for others. We have never met her in person, but can feel the true warmth coming off her just by experiencing a weekend as a guest in her home. We are honored to leave this review, as it is well deserved. Summary: This place was in a quiet setting. So peaceful. Such a beautiful place with the animals all around made it so nice just to sit and listen to them and enjoy the peace and quiet from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. I will definitely rent this house again. She was a wonderful host. Very comfortable beds.

Summary: Spectacular stay! Great location and property. Out in the country with cows and horses and close enough to small towns (and Canton) for good restaurants if desired. Owners are awesome; had a fire going before we arrived along with a pastry from local bakery for the next morning. Owner, Nitsie, made herself available for whatever questions or needs we had while at the cabin. The cabin is great with all the amenities one would need. Property is well taken care of and great place to get away from the normal routines of life - for us it was great getting out of the big city! Comforts of home out in the country. Met Nitsie, her husband and daughter while they were taking care of livestock. Could not have met nicer people. Looking forward to our next opportunity stay here!
