Positive: Caraxolas is a stunning country home based in a small village a short drive to Lugo. The home is beautifully designed with stone and wood features and soft furnishings. Positive: We absolutely loved this place!! Complete peace and quiet in the Galician countryside. Everything about it was perfect and our host Isa was so lovely and was a joy to be with. The house itself has been beautifully renovated and is immaculate in every detail. The breakfast each day was fabulous. The amazing town of Lugo is 10km away and is a must visit if you appreciate history and culture. There are plenty of good restaurants and tapas bars to visit.

Negative: If I had to choose anything to say here it would be the lack of local restaurants. There is only one eatery nearby which is very basic. My advice would be to visit Lugo to eat.
