Summary: The pictures portrayed the property to be a resort. The room was very minimal. After hours the front desk is closed and a security officer is the one who checks you in and provides any services. I checked in around 10:30 PM. The television in my room was not getting the cable, the security officer came to my room to get it going. He did a great job and was very pleasant. The restaurant is a bar, serving bar food. I waited about 10 minutes for the bar tender/server to come in the bar from doing some task outside the bar. Some days of the week the front desk is not open until 11:00 AM or 11:30 AM. It’s a rustic lodge. Not at all a resort.

Summary: It was just a short stopover, but was convenient to where we we to attend a function. Great dining in the area, Thai and a little Mom and Pop Cafe named Janets. We were on the lower floor and as luck would have it the first night noise from upstairs seemed never ending until about 11 pm. I do not know how that could be remedied to reduce noise for the lower level rooms.

Summary: It was a nice old hotel. They’re trying to upgrade it. The shower didn’t work. You couldn’t turn the shower off to take a bath and it was poor lighting and the TV was pretty small and far away but overall it was OK for the price. it was little much

Summary: This is a good place to stay in Santee. The service was great at the hotel, restaurant, cleaning people, and at the golf course. It's quiet and fairly modern. Parking is easy and abundant. The bed is on the firm side, which wasn't great for us, but I know a lot of people like that. The food at the restaurant is very good and priced fairly. The golf course isn't int he best shape. the greens are great, but the rest of the course has a lot of gopher problems. The tee boxes are very uneven. That being said the price is worth a round or two while you're there.

Summary: Had to leave the second night because the power went out! I couldn’t see anything it was very unsafe and uncomfortable. No light to see anything in your room is not right.
