As far as all your Internet needs, "The Carmel" is equipped with fast-speed WiFi, the latest Spectrum cable, and 2 smart TVs, so you won't need to skip a beat with work or school, nor with your favorite programs. Has equipped-to-the-hilt kitchen and even a full-size washer & dryer for all your beachcomber laundry needs. Sleeping configurations include King-size in master bedroom, Queen-size in guest bedroom, Queen-size sofa bed in living room, plus portable youth-size folding cot, AND baby's pack-'n-play, too.
Please, NO PETS or EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS: Our family has severe allergies and it is imperative that we keep our premises dog/cat dander-free. Folks with emotional support animals, regretfully, we must decline your inquiry to book due to this. We named this splendid condo "The Carmel" because it reminds us of our California honeymoon location, Carmel-by-the-Sea, and this “Carmel” is also by the sea ~ actually only a 5-minute stroll to lovely Whitecap Beach. You couldn’t be any closer to all the water sports imaginable like fishing, boating, parasailing, windsurfing, you name it. Furthermore, it’s only a short drive to Padre Island National Seashore ~ the world's longest stretch of undeveloped barrier island. It all adds up to "The Carmel” being the ideal beach resort-style condo retreat for everyone ~ families, couples, honeymooners, wedding guests, babymooners, small groups (up to 6), plus baby – and yes, Tommy Bahama, too!

Summary: Our family of 4 very much enjoyed our stay at the Carmel. It had everything we needed and the location was perfect- easy walk to the beach and short drive to the grocery store and restaurants.This area has a much more relaxed vibe than nearby Port Aransas. The beds are comfy and the towels soft! The condo is very clean. Plenty of space for us with our 2 adult children. Wonderful private deck with view. Excellent communication with the hosts. So happy we stayed here.

Summary: This condo was absolutely stunning! It was so beautifully decorated and felt like home. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and included lots of extras. They even provided spices for cooking. Richard and Marilyn are excellent hosts and provided exceptional communication through out the entire process. The check in process was seamless. They also provided details about the area and local amenities. Richard and Marilyn were very welcoming and kind. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and gym area. I wish we could have stayed longer! I would highly recommend staying at this condo, you won't regret it!

Summary: Very nice location for our families celebrations for a wedding and beach baptism. The beds were very comfortable. Condo was well equipped with everything we needed. We didn’t notice the beach towels in the master closet until the 2nd day. Will be sure to rent here again if ever back to Corpus.

Summary: Everything was wonderful. Our entire stay was so relaxing. The AC worked great, which was a perfect escape from this Texas heat. Both beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the peaceful view of the pond, jumping fish, and sound of the breeze blowing over the water while sitting on the back porch. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. The host replied quickly to any messages I sent. We couldn’t ask for more. We loved it so much and wanted to move in. We will definitely be back next year.
