Positive: Modern, new apartment in a small village. Close to Blue Grotto and Hagar Qim.

Negative: Everything was great.

Positive: Huge apartment with modern furniture, Air conditioner in each room and a wonderful terrace. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need. Nearest LIDL at aprox. 2.5 km away. Great host and very prompt in replying when/if you need anything. You need a car to visit the surroundings/ beaches. Lots of parking spots close to the property (careful not to park on the double yellow line marked portions of the street - as fined may be applied).

Positive: The apartment (number 1) is very high quality and spacious; the living area is open plan and worked well for us. Everything you will need is there, with lovely extra touches like the aquarium and pool table. The large balcony/terrace is also great for eating and playing basketball. The apartment is in a good location, with Neolithic sites (a highlight of our trip) and the Blue Grotto a short walk away. But Malta being the size it is, everywhere is a short and easy drive from the property, where you stay on the island - esp if you have a hire car - doesn’t really matter if you are planning day trips to the many different places of interest. Charmaine (the owner) is extremely helpful and friendly (though not intrusive) and was happy to assist with anything needed through WhatsApp

Negative: When we arrived (late on a Saturday night) we couldn’t find anywhere to park on the street. There are lots of garages (in fact all over Malta) with warnings on them about not parking in front of them, clearly a cause of much grief! The weekend was very busy but during the working days it clears. Basically the streets are packed with cars of commuters, so you may need to just do a bit of juggling. Once you understand the rhythm it’s fine and we managed to have our car outside the property for the last couple of days. Only other thing was barking dogs. I didn’t see other reviewers mention it so it may be new, but there were a group of dogs nearby who barked a lot, including at night. Not sure if that’s normal in Malta. We got used to it, but it wasn’t as quiet as we thought rural south Malta would be.

Summary: Amazing property, great location, lovely host, would recommend and consider re-booking if we return!

Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a true home away from home. A special mention goes to the wonderful host, who was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always available to help with any questions. We would highly recommend Carousel Apartments and would love to come back ourselves!

Positive: This apartment is one of the best we have ever stayed before. We were seven people in total, and we had more than enough space for all of us. The apartment is very clean, spatious and well equiped with everything we needed, and even more. I can not be more pleased with our stay in general. The location is really quiet , which was perfect for us. I am in the business of hosting as well, and I did not find a single thing to not like in here. Our host Charmaine, is the best ever, greeting us, and helping us with our every question and need.As we are traveling to Malta every year, I have no doubt that this apartment will be our choice always.Thank you so much Charmaine, and keep up the good work.
