Summary: Fabulously located hotel just north of Porto Montenegro, quiet and slightly tucked away from the crowds. We had a suite in the annex which looked very recently refurbished and was spacious and comfortable. Beautiful terrace right by the water. My only real criticism is that the hotel and adjoining restaurant seem to be run separately,although both owned by the same group. On our first morning we were told,by restaurant staff,that there was no table for breakfast as we had not booked although nobody at the hotel has explained that it was necessary to book. This rather disconnected feel continued for our 4day stay. Not a big thing really and certainly no reason not to come here.

Summary: Incredible location, so calm and beautiful. Super nice staff. Very comfortable rooms. And Amazing breakfast on the deck.

Summary: Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. I had a room with a terrace overlooking the bay and it was great. The restaurant could use some fine tuning. Breakfast is not available until 8:30 and then fills up with guests eager to get out and do things which results in a long delay for food and beverage service. I suggested opening for breakfast earlier which was met with a tepid response. Dinner service could also use a bit of polish although the food was good. Overall a nice stay.

Summary: Our 2 rooms had a large balcony directly over the water with pontoon to swim each day before breakfast, quiet beautiful view across the bay, and relaxing. The modern marina had better food than anywhere we have been, live staged outdoor opera and many shops-if you like designer things. The ferry is 3 minutes an away which saves a lot of driving from the Croatian border if coming from Dubrovnik, the breakfasts are local cuisine influenced. So a quiet place with serious evening activities near but not within ear to be heard distance or view.

Summary: This stay at Carrubba was disappointing. The room was poor; a low ceiling meant we had to crawl into bed, dated and poor quality furnishing, no bottled water, no tea/coffee facilities etc. There was a nasty smell from the drains in the room and on the stairs. In addition, it seemed as if the terrace was not for the sole use of the residents and in nearly every case, was already reserved for outside guests, so when we wanted to get a drink we were restricted. There was also a bad smell from the water at the side of the hotel. The overall impression from all staff was that they were not really bothered. We had 6 rooms booked, so quite an investment. Much nicer places to stay for the money.

Summary: A beautiful property with the best view in Montenegro of the bay. The food at the hotel was top quality, great flavour combinations and served by excellent staff.

Summary: Loved staying here! The location is quiet and still a beautiful, short walk to Porto Montenegro. The view is just beautiful and the breakfast was so delicious.

Summary: This is a boutique hotel with only a few rooms in a fabulous position in the village of Donja Lastva, about one mile from Tivat, right on the waterfront overlooking Boka Bay. Cleanliness is excellent and the reception staff speak good English and are exceedingly helpful. It is a 19th century two storey building and has no lift so this should be borne in mind for those with limited mobility. There are two restaurants in the village one of which, Punto Crudo, is connected to the hotel and provides an excellent free breakfast to hotel guests. Dinner is served from 5.00 pm and the food is of a good international standard although the menu is limited. Big Ben restaurant is about 700 metres away towards Tivat. This is a lively, noisy restaurant which should appeal to younger people. There are numerous restaurants a little further on in Tivat at various price levels and are just a short taxi ride away. There are minor inconveniences like no local taxis near the hotel (they are called to the hotel from Tivat); no snacks, just drinks, are available at the hotel between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm but the excellent breakfast should see one through the day. I recommend this hotel for those who enjoy peaceful surroundings and the ability to swim in the sea directly from the hotel quay.
