Positive: We were traveling through on a road trip and booked Carter House for 1 night. We didn’t know what to expect from the town itself but we are glad we booked this hotel. We liked the staff, the restaurant (food was excellent) and the adjacency to the historic Victorian homes.
Summary: It is the only nice option in Eureka! Highly recommend if you are staying in Eureka.

Positive: This is an adorable property, in a town that you would not expect excellent lodging. He did not have my reservation when I checked in, but Ian made sure we got a room and he even upgraded us. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this place a very enjoyable stay. The breakfast was wonderful.
