Beautifully located on the west side of Cas Abou, this friendly bungalow presents a wide and unique view from its porch over the Caribbean Sea, the surrounding bays, San Juan Bay and the nearby salt pan . This is a great place to enjoy sunset viewing from your porch. The gated and quiet residential area of Cas Abou is just a 5-minutes' drive from the pristine Cas Abou beach, that was voted by National Geographic in 2017 as one of the world's best beaches. The bungalow is about a 20 minute drive from Hato Airport and Willemstad is just 30 minutes away.
This 6-person bungalow, built in 2017, offers 3 double bedrooms, all with air conditioning, and 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet. The very pleasant porch offers cooler air in the shade. The kitchen is modernly furnished, fully equipped and adjacent to the living room and porch.
The bungalow is surrounded by the Kunuku, the natural vegetation of the island of Curacao. The bungalow also offers access to the sea by a staircase. Experienced snorkelers will find a reef - at only 20 meters from the shore - with many deer horn corals and all kinds of fish and other sea creatures.
Parking is on site, behind the fence.
The famous, beautiful, and quietly located Cas Abao beach is nearby and can be reached within a 5 minute drive by car. Cas Abou beach is highly recommended for divers and snorkelers. Various restaurants and grocery stores are nearby.
Families are welcome, but must take note of the open fence around the porch. Minimum height of children should be 1.25 metres.
Electricity is exclusive, and must be paid upon departure. ($ 0,55 per KwH). Water is exclusive as well and will cost $ 10.00 per m3.

Summary: Pros: AMAZING view, you can hear the ocean rolling, easy check in, clean & spacious house, great A/C in bedrooms, washer & dryer, clothes line, 2 showers. The gated community made us feel very safe, although there were zero safety concerns. This location is perfect in my opinion due to it's proximity to great places on the island. We really enjoyed beaces: Cas Abao, Playa Jeremi, Grote Knip, and swimming with the turtles at Playa Piscado (DONT TOUCH them!). It was about the same distance into down town- around 25 minutes. Get a massage and the dutch bitterballen meat balls at Cas Abao beach!! Cons: The beach access at the house is extremely rocky (coral), and the stairs are very steep. The access to the beach is not suitable for anyone who is not in good physical condition. THE BUGS! This has nothing to do with the property itself, but be aware of the bugs. I had dozens of bites. Take vitamin B1 for a week or two before your trip- trust me. Be aware of the Manchineel trees, they are poisonous and dangerous. Ask me how I know! We would happily stay here again! We traveled with adults and kids age 6, 7, & 9. They loved all of the crabs here!

Summary: Our stay was great! The bungalow met all of our needs including a cooler for our drinks to the many beaches. We picked this place because of their beach which is awesome for beach combing and turns out-snorkeling. There are mosquitoes, deal with it, they are everywhere on the island, don’t let it change your mind on this location. You can see and hear the flamingos in the morning, from a distance, which is pretty cool. We only used the AC at night when we were home and stayed very comfortable. It’s a very safe location, very clean, and communicating with the host was easy. 100% recommend and would stay again.

Summary: We stayed here during our week long vacation to Curaçao and it was truly an epic tropical paradise! House was very clean and very well equipped with all the necessities. Check in and check out as well as communications with the rental agency were all very easy. Gated community so no extra people/cars wandering about. Location while a bit of a drive from Willemstad is actually one of the things we loved about it because it was so incredibly private and quiet. The deck overlooking the ocean and salt pan made for spectacular sunrises, sunsets, flamingo watching, and hammock napping. The path from the house down to the private beach (coral covered embankment) is a bit steep and rocky but definitely passable with some caution and allowed for frequent and spur of the moment snorkeling excursions. The elk horn reef right below the house has abundant fish life - we even saw several eels while snorkeling near dusk. Probably some of the best snorkeling we did was actually right there in front of the house. You will definitely want/need bug spray for the mosquitoes and noseeums but it is tolerable with the spray and a few insect repellent candles. We cooked many of our own meals at the house due to dietary restrictions and purchased supplies from the New California Supermarket in Tera Kora, which is the closest grocery store and has all basics. This is one of those places when you walk in, see the view, your jaw just hits the floor in awe! If we ever make it back to Curaçao we will definitely stay here again. Actually wish we could buy this place for ourselves! Dreaming…

Summary: Here is some pros and cons about this place.. Pros: Good location,house is clean,close to some beautiful beaches,quiet neighborhood,safe,very good management Cons: There is no microwave in a kitchen,this house have a two bathrooms,so two rooms have to share it betweet each other,if you like to cook you better get some knife sharpening tool with you because knives in a house are very dull,and the worst part its a insects..this is nightmare,we came back all itching,there is some very tiny flies and mosquitoes because a lot of bushes around the house a guess,but I am not sure why,previous time we stayed in a house number 84 same area in a February and we didn’t have a problem at all with those insects,and the last part there is no grill in this property,so kitchen is not that good,but we still spend a good week on this beautiful island.

Summary: Gorgeous house in gorgeous location. Would be nice if the beds were bigger than full size, but mattresses were comfy. Would be perfect if the porch was screened or sliders so you could enjoy being out or having sliders open. Too buggy without. Be aware no AC in living/kitchen area. Would be fine if you could keep doors/windows open but too buggy without screens! I’d still highly recommend this vrbo.

Summary: We had a wonderful time visiting this property for the second time. The property is absolutely gorgeous with stunning views of the sunset, the ocean below and is surrounded by nature. The flamingos in the salt pond visible from the house are quite a beautiful sight. The open floor plan integrates the home with the natural surroundings and allows for breathtaking views from every room in the house. The booking process was simple and communication with the property management team is very good. This is a unique home and property in magical Curacao and has a special place in our hearts.

Summary: The location is fabulous. Uninterrupted views of the ocean. Bird watching is great! There are various species always flying about and the constant chirping and buzzing of bananaquits and hummingbirds on the trees right by the deck. Pink flamingos in the marsh to the right. However, there are a;so numerous small biting insects- no-see-ums, so bring your bug repellent! The place is as described and was very well kept and clean. Owners and property manager are always available and helpful when needed.
