Positive: What makes this place so special is its unique ambiance. Surrounded by beautiful artwork, lush plants, and earthy colors, it feels as though a small piece of Amazon has been brought indoors. We especially loved the simplicity of the architecture, with the exposed brick walls and natural elements creating a peaceful, zen-like environment. The hospitality was exceptional. From the management to the staff, and even the adorable resident cats, everyone contributed to making our stay memorable. If you value privacy and tranquility, this is the perfect place. It was wonderfully quiet, and on rainy days, listening to the rain through the skylight in our room or from the terrace as it danced on the leaves felt like nature's own soundtrack. Breakfast was another highlight. Instead of the usual hotel offerings, we enjoyed delicious local specialties such as tapioca, fresh fruits, and natural juices—healthy, authentic, and full of flavor. Positive: Great location, close to everything. Beautiful house full of art, plants and cute cats. It feels very personal. The facilities are super comfortable and the staff is absolutely lovely and helped us with everything we needed. Very uncomplicated.

Positive: This place is an oasis of calm, chic and beauty in a nutshell. Classy and artsy decor, warm, smiling and efficient staff and owner, comfortable bed, good shower, good aircon and attractive premises. I enjoyed the home-made breakfast, a bit expensive though, but plentiful, healthy, with an array of delicious fruit, freshly pressed juices, tapiocas, home-made cakes, etc Guests may also help themselves with coffee and cold water at any time. We could walk to main attractions (15-20 mn) during the day, but best call Uber in the evening. The surroundings are dilapidated and empty. Not attractive. We were given plenty of useful tips by the owner. Thanks to her. This place made our stay in Belem. A delightful moment.
Negative: There is nothing we did not like. Everything there has been thoroughly thought through and planned to be beautiful and enjoyable. Only, we missed a hair drier and better nightstand lights to be able to read in bed.

Positive: The place is gorgeous. Has such a sense of place. Lovely staff also. Relatively easy walk to Ver-o-Peso Market and the central part of the historic center.
Negative: Just wish I had figured out to get hot water in the shower sooner. Twist the thin extending knob, folks! Also, it's deserted after dark, so plan to Uber anywhere once the sun goes down.
