Positive: Awesome place, astonishing surrounding, and a host who makes you feel at home. A place filled with history just ask the host about places to go close to the village. Hidden gems like hollow trees and small hidden hillside walkpaths around everywhere. For someone who enjoys both a good hotel stay and some hiking / exploring i give this 10/10.

Negative: Either the bed was a little to hard for my taste or it was all the good food that made me heavy...

Positive: Great host, great food great facilities. Appreciated the time the host took with us, to tell us about the area and his /family history. Setting is spectacular.

Negative: Nothing significant -- pillow options in the room would be nice. Sinage from the road to the hotel could be easier to see.

Summary: Fantastic, unique experience that was one of our Portual trip highlights.

Positive: My friend and I were the only guests for the two nights that we were there. It made the experience super special as we were able to talk at length with Miguel and his neighbors about Portuguese culture. The place was clean, the view was unbeatable, and the service was superb. While the food prices were high, it was understandable as the majority of the food was grown/raised right there. We ended up buying honey as well as alheira, my favorite food during the visit! The breakfast was great and the staff was very accommodating. I wish I could have spent a week there!

Summary: 10/10! I would go back in a heartbeat. It truly is a hidden gem.
