Positive: It was quiet and a happy place to be, the wonderful hosts shared breakfast and dinner with us. We could walk from the property to the town plaza, to archeological ruins and to the local scenic overlook (mirador). Great experience!

Positive: Very friendly and helpful host. Secure parking for our motorbike, excellent breakfast and dinner. Great location for visiting the rainbow mountains and the Racqui ruins.

Negative: Room was a bit cramped and would benefit from more storage for clothes and towels. Quite expensive relative to other places we have stayed in Peru.

Positive: A sweet and safe little sanctuary within walking distance of the ruins of Raqchi. But the best part is the wonderful family that runs the spot— Fanny speaks multiple languages and can help with travel planning and logistics, and her parents at the hotel are absolute gems. They let me park my motorcycle inside the courtyard. One of the best experiences I had in Peru.

Positive: We had a great stay! Fanny was an amazing host and took great care of us. We wanted to find a place to stay close to the Palcoyo Mountain and Casa Amaru was perfectly placed. We also had a very nice tour of the Inca ruins in the area.
