Positive: It was a great experience staying at Casa Blanco, the hosts were very accommodating - giving us a lift to the accommodation, providing us with drinks, organising backpack transport, and cooking us an amazing dinner. Highly highly recommend the burger! Overall highly authentic local experience, with lovely hosts that made us feel at home. Muchos gracias Miguel and Montse!!

Positive: The property is a beautiful country house outside Palas de Rei but don’t worry about getting there as one of the owners will pick you up from the central square at Palas de Rei. The house is beautiful, clean, quiet, and very cosy. It has everything you need but most importantly, its surroundings are absolutely stunning: lots and lots of green areas to enjoy the lovely landscape in Galicia. I absolutely loved how quiet the place is and the that only you can hear are the bird singing! The owners Monse and Miguel really enjoy serving their guests and I can’t praise them more for always ensuring I was comfortable and happy. Another amazing aspect is that Monse cooks at a high level. The dinner she offered was top notch, as well as the super varied breakfast. I will definitely be back and I do recommend Casa Blanco.
Negative: Everything was perfect. From the moment Monse picked me up to the time Miguel drove me back next day to carry on walking for the Camino de Santiago to Arzua.

Positive: Our hostess and host were excellent in every way, from being so welcoming to providing excellent meals. The remote location was a treat. They are also willing/eager to pick you up in town and return you there, eliminating the drawback of being remote.

Positive: It is family owned. The family is very hospitable and they treat you like their own family . Very clean, food is great. They also gave us a ride back to the Camino route. They also provided the white sleepers and toothbrush. Very nice people .
