Positive: We stayed 5 nights at this great apartment. The location is absolutely fantastic - just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Jo and Scott were really great hosts - very helpful and always available. Would definitely stay here again when in Salema!

Positive: Highly recommended. Atmospheric house, with a beautiful view of the ocean, very well equipped. Peace and quiet, close to a beautiful beach, but also to walking trails. Very helpful and really nice owners. Salema charmed us. It is a place without crowds of tourists and street stalls. It offers everything you need to relax.

Positive: The apartment was very comfortable with fantastic ocean views from the top deck. It had everything we needed and the location was perfect. We could walk out the door and go for hikes or we could walk 1-3 minutes to a long sandy beach with restaurants. Salema has a very nice relaxed vibe and we would definitely come back. Casa Da Paz worked well as a base for day trips to Sagres, Lagos, etc. Our hosts were very nice and made us feel very welcome.

Summary: Nice, relaxing stay in a lovely beach town.

Positive: Near the Praia da salema. Beautiful view over the ocean. Relaxed and uncomplicated owner. Everything you needed in the house. The bed looks quite old, but it is amazingly comfortable. The climate in the house is good. The road to the appartement is amazing. Small street. In the town is a good mixture of tourism and daily life- more than in other villages indeed

Positive: We loved the location. We loved the house (3 stories), the rooms and the decks. It felt like staying at your artsy grandma's beach house, you will feel at home there. We loved the big bathroom and the good water pressure and the best was soap in soap dispensers and not tiny packages. We also got a nice warm welcome and tour of the house when we arrived. We also loved the washing machines and the fact that there was washing detergent. There's also everything you need for the beach, like a sun umbrella and beach toys. It's very close to the beach

Negative: We liked everything about the house. But you should know the road leaving up to it is very narrow in parts, at least the first time and then you get used to it

Positive: The place has 3 floors, full kitchen, AC, and 2 balconies. There is a washer and dryer on the third floor.

Negative: The Wi-Fi is very well and slow - we tried to use it for streaming Euro 2024 football games and it wasn't capable of it. While there are 2 queen and 1 full beds in total, 1 queen and 1 full beds are located on the first floor in the bedroom and the other queen bed is in the kitchen. The location is close to everything but you have to go up and down the hill.
