Positive: The apartment was fabulous. For our 3 week Portugal trip we stayed in 7 different places and Johan’s apartment was the best. Most functional bathroom, well stocked and equipped (especially espresso machine), comfortable bed and amazing patio. Johan knew it was our 40th wedding anniversary and on check in we found champagne, treats, swan towel arrangements and rose petals scattered in the bed. He was an amazing host.
Negative: No concerns!
Summary: Excellent apartment in great location with amazing and responsive host!

Negative: We loved everything. The host was very kind and attentive. I would say that you just need to have a car to move around, but we didn’t think that was a problem.

Positive: Everything. Very comfortable, very aesthetically pleasing, spotlessly clean, convenient location, easy access to walking trails and to a beautiful beach. Lovely terrace. Great coffee machine. Wonderful shower and lots of hot water. It is compact but works well for 2 people. Very attentive host, who provides lots of helpful information about the area, something very few properties provide. And he is readily available if there is any problem. This was our second stay and we hope we will be back again.

Positive: Wow! Excellent place to stay in Lagos! Beautiful flat with lovely decorations and very clean. The host provided wonderful information and recommendations! Very quick responses to any questions! Provision of snacks and wine on arrival! Very comfortable beds! Amazing espresso machine and tea pot! Lovely veranda outside and location within walking distance to the beach! Highly recommended!
Negative: The inside of the building was very outdated but everything inside the apartment was amazing.

Positive: The location is central but you need a car. The hostess communicated with us on WhatsApp and was alway accessible. The apartment was clean but we did not have room service during our stay and did not meet our expectations. We travel 4 star and this is not a 4 star rating should be a 3. I don't recommend this apartment and I'm surprises rating and the reviews. The hostess is nice but that doesn't reflect the apartment or the building. Nice balcony but no views.
Negative: The building and the apartment was old, needs a major face lift, staring with basic paint The hostess never came to meet us or show us the place. We had troubles with the door, our key got jammed each time we used it. The photos did not reflect the apartment. The pool looks nice on photos but not appealing and not heated. Parking was problematic with just a few spots available. There was another option down the street (which the hostess did not mention) and even that was problematic. We had trouble using the washing machine.
Summary: The photos do not reflect the apartment/building. This is a 3 star rating not a 4 star
