Positive: Wow...just wow! What an experience! Casa Das Obras is the most unique place I've ever stayed in, featuring 16th and 18th century original buildings, decor and items. Absolutely mind-blowing. Attention to detail - impeccable. Right from the start I felt very welcome by Amalia and Katya. The owner as well as the hostess are extremely kind, generous and thoughtful. The home-cooked cakes and sweet treats were a delicious add-on during breakfasts! 👌 My stay literally couldn't have been more perfect. THANK YOU. I will be back ☺️.

Negative: The wifi was not working while we were there but assumedly this will be fixed soon.

Positive: We had a lovely stay at Casa das Obras and we were sorry it wasn't for longer. Our room was lovely and spacious even though it was 'budget'. There is also a communal sitting room with a fire and a games room with a billiard table. Tea, coffee and home made biscuits are available, which is a really lovely touch. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room and had a great range of options. Our hostess was friendly and welcoming. We thought the place was stunning.

Negative: It was all fine.

Summary: Grand historic house which has been beautifully transformed into accommodation.
