Come enjoy a wonderful Florida vacation at this beautiful 3 bedroom/2 bath home with pool located minutes from the beautiful Gulf beaches of Anna Maria Island.
The tropical landscaped yard welcomes you into an open living area with lots of comfortable seating and a large SMART TV mounted for you to enjoy your favorite entertainment. The updated, spacious kitchen has granite countertops with a breakfast bar for snack time. There is a large dining table that seats six comfortably and has a great view out to the pool area.
Out the patio doors, you'll find a beautiful screened-in heated pool with plenty of room for everyone to relax, in or out of the water. A large dining table and gas grill make dining al fresco easier and more fun than eating out! String lights hang around the cage for magical evening hours enjoying the warm air and even the warm water after the sun goes down.
The patio area overlooks a charming waterway that lends to the ambiance. Although this waterway doesn't lead to open waters, it's a great spot for the kids to fish from the banks. You might also want to rent a paddle board and explore the waterway as it twists its way through the neighborhood; a shell ramp leading down to the water's edge would make it easy to launch.
Off the living area, you'll find the bedroom wing, with three bedrooms that can sleep 8. The primary bedroom has a king bed and en suite bath with a garden tub (currently there is no shower in this bathroom, but plans are underway to add one). The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has bunk beds with a twin bed on top and a full-size mattress below. There's also a twin pull-out cushion that would make a comfortable sleeping spot for a small child. All three bedrooms have smart TVs so everyone can watch their own programs. The shared bathroom has a beautiful, tiled walk-in shower and vessel sink.
Another great feature of this vacation spot is the location. You are minutes from the beautiful beaches of Anna Maria Island where you can just plant your toes in the sand, or you can rent a boat, jet skis, kayaks, and paddleboards, or even go for a horseback ride in the waters of Palma Sola Bay! The Island abounds with wonderful places to eat and fun shopping. You can even park your car and just catch the free Anna Maria Trolley to explore anywhere on the Island.
Closer still is Robinson Preserve, one of Manatee County's loveliest parks, with walking and bike trails, kayaking opportunities, and even an observation tower from which you can see for miles out to the Manatee River, Tampa Bay, and Anna Maria Island to the Gulf of Mexico. The DeSoto National Memorial is also close at hand, a treasure from the National Park Service that anyone who loves history and the Florida landscape should be sure to enjoy.
Traveling with a larger group? Check out "Live Oak Lodge," a gorgeous four-bedroom home just three minutes down the street, or Tranquil Haven, just around the corner in the same neighborhood. Both of these pool homes can sleep up to 8 people.
AGAIN, PLEASE NOTE: While this is a waterfront home, the waterway is not accessible for boats, nor does it connect to open water. Casual fishing may be enjoyed from the bank.

If your reservation is for a longer period, someone on our staff will adjust the pool heat rate to reflect the longer stay. We recommend pool heat at this property, regardless of the time of year, as pools near shady trees stay cooler, even in the summer.

Summary: The pool area was beautiful. The house was adequate except for the Palmetto bugs that we found multiple times inside the house. We stay in homes every year but they never get inside the house. We weren’t thrilled about that. WiFi worked well for us. The beds were comfortable.

Summary: Very nice overall. Lot of new bonuses inside. Upgraded ceiling fans, more pool furniture than the pictures show, tile floors, and new appliances. Great pool area that is well maintained. Interior of the home is very neat and clean. More spacious than I anticipated. Kitchen is really nice with all the conveniences. All utensils, pots, pans, and spices you need. There is a blender, microwave, and both types of coffee makers. (Drip and Keurig). Convenient to everything. Robinson Preserve is only 2 miles away. (Biking, walking, fishing, and kids space.)Expect long waits to get onto Anna Maria on weekends and holidays. Only drawbacks I can express were contact with the rental agency (if needed) was a little complicated and even though the master bath has a shower now, it is a little narrow. I’m 5 ft 11 in and 220 lbs and it was tight for me. Not a problem if you use the other bath. Can’t access the garage, which would be nice. Overall, great location and a nice, clean home.
