Situated in the north of Portugal, in the green region of Miรฑo, a gateway to the Peneda-Gerรฉs National Park (15 min away). Casa de Abbades is accessible by motorway from the Spanish border (20 min away). Dedicated to tourism since 1979, Casa de Abbades offers its guests:

The stay includes once per week housekeeping, firewood for the fireplaces, access to the gardens and swimming pool. Meals are served in the apartments or in the garden by prior booking.
There is also an ancient distillery which has been renovated and transformed into a comfortable apartment, with a delightful added touch: a private garden, with the surrounding wall and a large granite table where you can have your meals or spend a lovely summer evening chatting to friends under a warm star lit sky. Inside, you will find two double rooms, a bathroom, kitchen and sittingroom, with electric heating in all the rooms.
The inside of each of these accommodations has been adapted to modern day requirements, preserving the antique furniture: ironwork beds, dressing tables, old porcelain washbas. We can serve dinners , by prior booking. All the firewood for the fireplaces is free of charge, courtesy of Casa de Abbades, as well as for the barbecue.

Summary: Fuimos un grupo de 14 amigos y amigas que pasamos cuatro dรญas muy felices en La Casa de Abbades con la muy cordial acogida de Madalena, nuestra anfitriona, secundada por sus colaboradoras Alexandrina y Rosa. Summary: Vaste domaine fleuri et arborรฉ d'arbres fruitiers.Un joli lavoir authentique en pierre avec eau de source et utilisรฉ. Piscine gรฉante avec vue environnante imprenable. L'appartement du 1er รฉtage : dans le salon trone une cheminรฉe en pierre. Suffisamment de fauteuils et divans. La prรฉsence au sol de tapis, de parquet et de pierre ajoute une touche nature. Une tres belle terrasse ombragรฉe pour le dรฉjeuner et le diner. Accueil chaleureux de Madalena et repas de tradition portugaise servi ร  la demande en compagnie de l'hรดtesse et l'hรดte. Une visite s'impose dans la maison du propriรฉtaire ร  son bon vouloir et ร  la chapelle attenante.(souvenirs : toute une รฉpoque)!! Aux environs Porto, Braga, le marchรฉ couvert de LIma et des musรฉes ร  prix modiques. Bonne introduction en pays portugais !!

Summary: Hemos pasado una semana en esta casa y nos ha encantado, el trato maravilloso, la limpieza es excelente y las instalaciones y el jardรญn estรกn muy bien cuidadas. La piscina estรก fenomenal y el desayuno es estupendo, no falta de nada, lo mรกs rico la mermelada de madalena :). Recomiendo 100x100 este alojamiento. Muchas gracias por la acogida a madalena y su familia. Ademรกs nuestra perrita se lo pasรณ genial. Un saludo muy grande. Volveremos

Summary: Nous avons รฉtรฉ trรจs bien accueillis. La propriรฉtรฉ comporte de superbes jardins, du vignoble et de trรจs beaux bรขtiments, notamment la chapelle. Nous y avons passรฉ trois nuits dans l'appartement Alambique que nous avions rรฉservรฉ. Il donne sur un adorable jardin privatif dans lequel on nous a servi de trรจs bons petits dรฉjeuners et des diners de cuisine portugaise bons et copieux. Cependant le logement Alambique en lui-mรชme est quelque peu รฉtriquรฉ et sombre. Heureusement qu'il a fait beau! La salle de bain mรฉriterait d'รชtre modernisรฉe. Par contre les deux autres appartements (au mรชme tarif) sont spacieux et trรจs clairs et de ce fait trรจs agrรฉables. Nous recommandons pleinement cette location avec une prรฉfรฉrence pour les appartements dans la grande maison.

Summary: Estuvimos alojados durante el puente de Mayo del 2013 en la casita "El alambique". Somos una pareja con dos niรฑos pequeรฑos de 8 y 13 aรฑos y tan solo puedo decir que la estancia ha sido perfecta. Empezare por destacar el trato de Madalena. Es un encanto de persona que se preocupo al mรกximo porque nuestra estancia fuera lo mas confortable que pudiera y por hacernos sentir como si fueramos su familia, es un encanto de mujer y le gustan mucho los niรฑos. Incluso nos propuso cambiar a un apartamento mas grande sin subirnos el precio ya que la casita "el alambique" tenia estropeado el termostato preocupandose porque no pasaramos frio por la noche (problema que soluciono la misma tarde de nuestra llegada). El alambique es una casita perfecta para las cuatro personas que eramos, y a pesar de que en superficie es mas pequeรฑa que los otros apartamentos tiene un jardin privado muy agradable con mesa y sillas de jardin, hamacas y una mesa con banco de granito que lo hacen perfecto para comer o cenar en el exterior con buen tiempo (que ricas saben las cervezas alli despues de las excursiones). Gracias al buen tiempo, los desayunos nos han sido servidos alli y es indescriptible el placer desayunar en pijama en tu jardin a la hora que quieras ya que te llevan el desayuno a la casita y te lo dejan preparado todo. La finca es una preciosidad, con una piscina grande y rodeada de un enorme jardin de cesped con arboles y palmeras que lo hacen perfecto para tomar el sol o para que los niรฑos jueguen. Tambien tiene patos, gallinas, un viรฑedo y una fuente natural con un agua fresca y muy rica. Se encuenta en un pueblo tranquilo, pero a la vez a 5 minutos en coche de la autopista la que la hace muy accesible para realizar excursiones. Nosotros fuimos a Oporto, Guimaraes, Viana do Castelo y a la playa de Afife. El ultimo dia Madalena y su marido nos enseรฑaron la casa principal y nos regalaron 3 botellas de vino verde de sus viรฑedos. !! Muchisimas gracias por todo!!.Luis y vega

Summary: Casa de Abbades es el lugar ideal para pasar unas vacaciones ideales. El sitio perfecto para ir con niรฑos, descansar y disfrutar del entorno, de la naturaleza, paisajes y su clima suave, un paraiso! Su situciรณn permite hacer excursiones, visitar ciudades a corta distancia y descubrir Portugal, un pais maravilloso y sorprendente. No puedo dejar de mencionar a Madalena y su familia, su trato tan familiar que te hacen sentir como en casa desde el primer dรญa y no olvido los fรกntasticos desayunos, sobre todo la mermelada de naranja! Sin duda un lugar para volver!

Summary: Ya llevamos aรฑos acudiendo a casa de Abbades, antes con nuestros hijos, cuando eran pequeรฑos y ahora con otros grupos: familia, amigos... Siempre acogedores, siempre una gozada. El desayuno es un placer, sin prisa, normalmente al aire libre. Las mermeladas son de la casa y llaman la atenciรณn, el zumo de las naranjas de la finca, el pan fresquito... Este fin de semana no ha podido ser por el tiempo, un poco revuelto. Tanto la dueรฑa, Dยช Madalena, como el personal que ayuda en la casa, atentos y cercanos. Para volver y recomendar.

Summary: tanto la casa como la atenciรณn ha sido espectacular, eso de tener el desayuno listo por las maรฑanas a pesar de lo tarde que nos habรญamos acostado es una delicia. El trato excelente y una vez que sugerimos una cena en domingo....sencillamente fue espectacular. Volveremos y gracias

Summary: Es la tercera vez que vamos y nunca decepciona. La casa es preciosa y estรก en un enclave maravilloso. De los desayunos caseros no se puede pedir mรกs y la calidad humana de Magdalena te hace sentir como en casa o mucho mejor. Este aรฑo encargamos una comida en la casa principal y es una experiencia que no os debรฉis perder.
