Positive: The accommodation was located in a pleasant part of town, with the main church directly opposite, with attractive steps leading down into a square with a cafe. Inside the property, the accommodation was well maintained in a traditional style, with lovely decorative objects. The room was very comfortable & stylish in a traditional way, with shutters at the window and the ensuite bathroom had a super powerful shower. As it was February, the room could be cold at night, but there was an effective heater/air con unit in the bedroom & heater in the bathroom. The host was very friendly & helpful, enhancing our stay. The pool was not set up for use, but as it was February, this was not a problem. We loved visiting the Palace in this town & Roman ruins.

Summary: Our stay was very good value for money in this charming accommodation with a lovely host.

Positive: Super heritage family home converted to an item with period furniture and look n feel. Staff was great specially Juse who was always there to help . Location was fantastic and place spotlessly clean .

Positive: Hotel in a lovely, old Portuguese house. Very central in town. Decorated for Christmas. Room was large and comfortable. Good size patio. Very clean in all areas. Tea and coffee in room.

Negative: No lift but stated in description, so not unexpected.

Positive: We loved the host, he was very attentive and answered all the questions we had. The room was very clean and spacious with a working kettle and bath/shower. The outside may make you a bit questionable but the inside is lovely. It has so much personality to it.

Negative: The pool was a little dirty, doesn’t seem to be cleaned often so we were hesitant to use it. Other than that no big issues
