Positive: An historic quinta built from stone and lovingly restored into bedrooms that are comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Wonderful staff looking after us, and a nice continental breakfast.

Negative: Would have liked a kettle in the room for an early cup of coffee, and the water pressure in the sink was a trickle (though the shower was fine).

Positive: The host was superfriendly and attentive. He even prepared lunch early because i had to leave at 5:30AM. Oh, and the view. Can't choose what was best.

Negative: I really dont know, cant recall anything bad. Maybe that this isn't the place for you if you hate having some personal space.

Positive: We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely villa and vineyard. And it was a nice break from a hard day on The Camino De Santiago. The owner, Mr. Campos is a lovely person, and he met us personally upon arrival. He gave us a quick tour of the grounds, and we could see that he is very proud of it. He gave us a bottle of the wine that is produced by his family from his vineyard, and it was a very tasty wine. The home is from the 17th century, so not very modern- but we were comfortable. It kind of felt like we had gone back in time, but in a good way. In the morning there was a lovely breakfast with local meats, cheeses, fruit, breads, pastries, freshly cooked eggs along with wonderful tea, coffee, and fresh juice. The grounds are very beautiful. After breakfast, Mr. Campus gave us a ride into Barcelos. There was a flower festival going on and he wanted to show us personally. He was extremely accommodating and jovial. If we are ever back in the area, I would definetely stay here again.
