Summary: We received a very warm welcome from the owners, even though we arrived later than planned. We were able to enjoy a toasted sandwich in the peaceful garden. The house itself has been beautifully renovated, and the rooms are decorated with great care, maintaining the old style yet offering all the modern conveniences. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh rolls, homemade jam, and lemonade. A place to return to!

Summary: Marta and Ikar were the most perfect and accommodating hosts for this historic and scenic B&B hotel. As owner/operators they made sure we were comfortable and catered too. Local jams and honey and and extra personal touches made this stay worthwhile. Slightly remote but close enough for a 15 minute drive into Tondela. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We stayed in a beautiful old house, renovated with taste and surrounded by a green garden with many cosy corners to enjoy the landscape. Optional Iker makes you a 3 course diner ( previous chef cook). According to the weather, the breakfast is out- or indoor.

Summary: This was an amazing home in rural Portugal. The hosts went completely out their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was very spacious and wonderfully designed, the breakfast amazing, and we stayed an extra night partly to enjoy a home cooked meal, made by the London trained chef and one of our hosts, Iker. Marta, did her share with homemade jams and delicious baked goods. Give yourself a gift and stay in this home. They seemed like good friends after our all-too-short two night stay.

Summary: Casa do Cabeco is a beautiful home wirh outstanding views. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. Breakfast each morning was a delicious collection of fresh breads, handmade jams, local cheeses, fresh fruits, Greek yogurt, and an excellent ppt of French press coffee.
