Positive: Everything was 100% perfect. It was incredibly well designed and thought through. There was everything that was needed for my stay. I had the misfortune of a flat tyre within five minutes of leaving the property. Since I had a rental car and got no assistance from the rental company, I called on Andre for help. Although he was out of town he immediately sent the most wonderful colleague called Adela to my rescue who changed my tyre and took me to the garage for a new tyre replacement. All of this was in the pouring rain and Andre ensured from a distance I was safe and sorted. Extraordinary service. I am deeply moved by Andre and Adela's pure kindness and consideration. Thanks so very much.

Positive: This is such a wonderful space. A studio done in such a way that it was very comfortable and at the same time practical.. It's a relatively new remodel. with lots of thought to the structure I stayed in the unit that had a large window in the bedroom area that could be operated electronically so I could hear the river or not.as I wished..the kitchen is well supplied, the couch and TV area is comfortable. There's a dining table that seats 4 comfortably and another table on the porch that could seat the same number of people. One of the absolute best things is the location. It's just off a walking path that takes you to downtown in about two kilometers. The path is lovely in it's own right and very well traveled. There is easy foot access to a Continental and Lidl right up the block making shopping super easy if thats what you want as well as lots of small stores right near by. It's easy to access public transportation, Uber can find the place ( 97% of the time), and there is parking if you are driving. Leiria is centrally located in Portugal so going different places for day trips is quite convenient. The hosts are very kind and attentive if you need them. Truely one of the best stays I have ever had.
Negative: That I had to leave.....

Positive: If I could give this 100-stars, it would not be enough. I have stayed in many Airbnb’s over the years and this one is definitely in my top five. Not only was it uniquely located on the river with a 20 minute Riverwalk that took us into town, it was also beautifully designed. The layout was so great. This apartment is impeccably clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is spotless. We went to the Leiria castle at night for free weekend concerts and enjoyed the Mercado that offered lots of Portuguese fair. Many thanks to Andre. We highly recommend staying here for a trip to Leiria.

Positive: We really enjoyed this very nice apartment in a beautifully renovated old mill, located right next to the river. The space has a creative and charming design, and everything we needed was provided. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the river (which can be muted if it bothers you). Overall the apartment was full of character and made for a wonderful stay. We were sorry to stay only for one night and will return if possible. We highly reccommend it.
Negative: The only small detail is that the couch is a little uncomfortable for lying down. Fortunately we didn't need it.

Positive: Havia uma área agradável ao redor e belas árvores. Os donos da casa foram amáveis. Usaram aquele pequeno espaço com muita sabedoria. There was a nice area around and beautiful trees. The homeowners were friendly. They used the small space very wisely.
Negative: It's hard for me to write good things because I was just freezing in this house, everything was nice and comfortable, but the floor was concrete, there were not enough carpets, just an icy bare floor, they didn't provide any change of shoes or slippers, I put a magazine on the floor so as not to stand barefoot. I had to walk around in sneakers all the time. The air conditioner didn't heat up, it just blew air, I was floating in bed because the cold was in the air and the warmth under the blanket was condensation. The feeling was terrible, I got up in the middle of the night and put on a tracksuit. And also the house is right on the river. The sound of the water is very loud and the flow of water is strong. I put on earplugs but it didn't help. Maybe someone likes the sound of water like that. So I wouldn't come back to this house again. But thank you very much to the owner for helping with the bag. It was torn, he helped fix it.
