Positive: Everything was incredible- Fernando welcomed us into his beautiful home and was so attentive and kind! He made helpful suggestions and sold me some olive oil. We wandered through the vineyard and orchard and stayed cool in the summer heat playing pool in the games room downstairs. Breakfast included fresh orange juice and homemade jams😋. To visit Lamego, Ucanha and Salzeda, the location was perfect, with supermkts 8min away. We will definitely come back, thank you so much for the memorable visit Fernando!

Positive: Location is great, nice play room.

Negative: Be prepared to share the house with the owners and see owners staff all over. It was not in any of the previous reviews that the owners will be staying with you in the kitchen all the times, even when you are having breakfast or dinner . Hot water is an issue, was not able to take a shower due to the water not being hot enough the first day. Had to talk to Fernando to get it fixed. Breakfast assortment included coffee, juice with bread , margarine and 2 jars with something questionable, possible tomato based.

Positive: The house was perfect. Fernando, the owner of the house, is a very sympathetic and kind person. He helped us with all the questions we had and made great breakfasts with the products of their garden. The location of the house was truly beautiful. I would totally recommend it to people who want to see the Douro region in the heart of it.

Negative: Everything by the owner was perfect. Only the water system could be better but he had already warned us about it, so we found a solution without having any trouble.

Positive: Everything! The house was more home! The owners (Mr and Mrs DaSilva) treated us like family!! The facilities are impeccable…so well designed…so well kept!!!

Negative: There is nothing to not like about the property itself! Just make sure you follow Fernando’s directions on how to get there and not google maps!!!

Summary: Absolutely awesome! Will be back first chance we get!!!
