Positive: We very much enjoyed the tasteful old style decor and warm hospitality of the owners. The property is surrounded by vineyards with many nice places to hang out outside and enjoy the views. They have their own wines and olive oil. The wine cooperative nearby also has a good selection of wine and port. We also enjoyed an excellent cheese plate for a light dinner.

Positive: Unbelievable location and stay - recommend booing for 3 nights - one of the few places which felt like home ( during a holiday) and we were taken really good care of. Without saying too much , I think when in Duoro - this is the right option to stay.

Negative: Absolutely nothing - Everything was more than perfect .

Positive: The property was idyllic. It was so peaceful and the whole property was gorgeous! The room was comfortable, they were so helpful with advice of things to do around the area, and the views were amazing.

Negative: Be sure to plan ahead about food! They offer to order you food from the village restaurants and, depending on when you arrive, that might be a good idea. We didn't do that and when we arrived around 3:00 pm, there wasn't anywhere open in the village to eat.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful accommodation with hard-to-beat views. Definitely will be back
