Summary: Such a lovely property with a great setup for a family. The kitchen is the best I’ve had in European stays, and that suited us perfectly. The view from the property is amazing and we spent a very nice three nights. We used it as a home base for a few days and drove to the Douro valley where we had an amazing river tour with Anima Durius on their boat “Unbelievable”. Overall a great stay with the only drawback being its relative remoteness.

Summary: Excellent property in the mountains of northern Portugal. Great kitchen! Views from every bedroom. We had indoor and outdoor fires every night. This spot is a true getaway with winding roads to get to Porto, Douro or Braga.

Summary: View was spectacular and property was accurately portrayed in listing. Kitchen was very well equipped, all bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. Property is ideal for a family stay or a stay with friends. Host was very responsive to answer any and all questions we might have had. We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend Casa do Sobreiro.
