Positive: The location is beautiful, perfect for those hiring a car as it is 30/40 minutes away from Faro airport. There is private parking on the property and cleaned to a very high standard (pool and villa). 5 minutes away from the shopping centre which has supermarket at the bottom of the centre. Around 10/15 mins old town Albufeira / Beach and harbour if you want to book a boat tour for the caves or kayaking into the caves. Close enough to the water parks too if you have children. Host was very accommodating, friendly and helpful.
Negative: The only thing I didn’t like were the mattresses. As they were rock solid. My partner and I had quite sore backs from them. But this is can be easily fixed with a soft layered mattress cover.
Summary: 100% worth the stay and would definitely come back!
