Summary: Casa El Eden was perfect. They have thought of everything. The room was meticulously clean, the building is beautiful, but the best part was Mario and Blanca who made us feel like family the moment we walked through the door. We wish we could have stayed longer. Next time! And. Make sure you get to the rooftop patio…!

Summary: Hi highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel near Old Town Quito. Mario and Blanco were fantastic hosts from helping us during our very late arrivals, to a wonderful breakfast each morning, helping us with suggestions on where to go in Old Town, making our dinner reservation & transport to the airport. All were perfect!

Summary: Mario and Blanca run a fantastic operation at Casa El Eden. We are just off a four-night stay with them and couldn’t be happier with our visit. Mario could not have been kinder and more helpful. Want something specific? He can help. Laundry needed? Same day. Need a recommendation or info? Done - and/or he calls a friend. He really went out of his way to ensure that our every question was answered, and every need met. He helped arrange airport transportation both ways and even helped deliver some paintings that we acquired in Quito but were not taking with us right away. He stays up late awaiting the taxi driver when he knows you are coming in, and he always beats you to the front door to unlock it and usher you in or out. Just an all-around incredible proprietor and gracious host. The building itself is a refurbished house in Quito’s Old Town, with all of the charm that that entails. The rooms are situated around a central, covered courtyard that fills the space with light. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and modern (the bathroom in particular!) Breakfast was always freshly prepared and delicious. After several big dinners, we typically had to eat rather light in the mornings but Mario and/or Blanca were always kind enough to send coffee up to our room when this was the case. I’d give them 10/10 and would happily return to Casa El Eden in a future visit to Quito.

Summary: Our stay was great! The couple running the hotel is amazing! They had breakfast ready for us a little earlier, they were always smiling in the mornings, and welcomed us back each night. We stayed three nights and would definitely stay again. They gave us restaurant recommendations due to many being closed for the holiday. He also scheduled a car early in the morning to the airport for us.
