Positive: We had a great stay at Casa El Errante. - The building is beautiful with a great terrace. It’s located just 5-10 minutes walk from the main sites but much quieter than staying in the old town itself. - The staff were super helpful, we were able to check in late in the night and also leave our bags during our Colca Canyon hike. - And it’s a great price!
Negative: Only very small things… - The kitchen is very small (one person cooking at once). - Laundry is DIY - but there’s plenty of laundry places nearby. - No hand soap or towels were provided.
Summary: Great, affordable option in Arequipa - would recommend!

Positive: 10min walk from the centre. Lovely clean room. Amazing terrace/common areas. Good kitchen. The staff were super nice, let us leave our bags after and before check out.

Positive: The rooftop was great and spacious and the room nice. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Negative: A hole from the shower corner to the rooftop.

Positive: Location. Value. bed was comfy
Negative: The room had mold on the walls and ceiling. The shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold, and it was very hard to balance the temperature. Also, they made me feel like a thief. Their credit card machine wasn’t working, and even though I came to pay more than five times, each time they told me to “come later.” I ended up checking out without paying, and then received multiple texts pressuring me to pay. I had no problem paying, of course—but please give guests a moment. I don’t always have internet access while traveling.
