Positive: We had a lovely 4 night stay at Casa Frida in late June. The host, Rossella, was brilliant over whatsapp, providing parking information and arranging a meeting time at the property, and was very accommodating to our late arrival time and requests. We were travelling with our two year old, and we arrived to the travel cot already made up, which was much appreciated! The apartment has everything you need for a stay - a well equipped kitchen, good sized bathroom, and very comfy beds/pillows. Rossella, was super helpful and attentive our whole stay, even helping us book a table at a tiny local restaurant one evening! It is about a 15 minute walk downhill to town, we drove there most of the time due to having our toddler and a pram, and we always managed to find parking. The location of the apartment brings with it stunning views of the lake, and the balcony is the perfect place to sit in the sunshine with your morning coffee. We can't wait to come back one day!

Positive: The view was incredible! We sat on the balcony every morning and night to watch the lake and surrounding mountains. Truly spectacular! Rossella and Marcelo also were the kindest hosts. Big thank you to them for their hospitality, and to Rossella for all her recommendations and help with ferries. I highly recommend anybody who is considering this place to book it!
Negative: Nothing! Prepare for a hike back up to the apartment, but it’s great to burn off extra calories from all the eating downtown.
Summary: We will be rebooking this apartment and recommending it to all of our friends! Truly a mountain oasis.

Positive: Casa frida was the total perfection from booking ,stayed in a magical ✨️ place.. Perfect location , gorgeous views, Amazing and attentive host n owner "Rossella thank you so much for your all your advice and extra details to make our stay an everyday adventure 😊.. we had a whole week of adventure exploring all the different towns around lake Como, ending the week with our nieces wedding at Villa del Balbianello. For sure an epic and memorable event..

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Casa Frida and we will definitely come back. The apartment is located 10 min walk to Menaggio center, has an amazingly beautiful lake view visible from all over the apartment. The balcony is overlooking the lake, it is beautiful to enjoy. The place was very comfortable, very nicely decorated, spotless clean even had fresh flowers!!. The apartment had everything one would need. We were two but even three people can easily stay as there are two separate rooms and a living room The host is very thoughtful and very very helpful. She helped us with the highlights of the area, accommodated our late check in, even gifted us food and drinks. We were very happy with our stay. I can easily recommend this place to everyone, it was a dream vacation.
Negative: We liked everything. Menaggio has hills, be prepared to walk uphill (and downhill) for 10 min which is a beautiful walk with nice view.
