Positive: It was on the street with balcony doors. Large room with wooden flooring. Close to all shops and restaurants, Quito at night is all lit up and you can see the cathedral and other monuments. The people were fantastic, sorted out a pick up for my tour and organised a taxi for our trip to Mindo. Very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was fabulous eggs, fruit, toast and croissants with jam, delicious!

Summary: I would recommend this hotel it’s central to all amenities, and friendly people who will assist you.

Positive: The staff were really friendly & helpful. They organised an airport transfer for us in both directions plus a breakfast to takeaway due to an early flight. The building is beautiful. Our room was a good size, comfortable and warm.
Negative: The bathroom was a tight squeeze and quite dated.

Positive: This hotel in the heart of Quito truly impressed me. As someone who loves history, I found the building’s rich and fascinating past very interesting. I especially enjoyed how Lucía, at breakfast, always explained which exotic fruit the juice was made from and shared an interesting fact about it. I must also highlight the receptionist, Luis, who was incredibly kind and helpful – whatever we asked for, he fulfilled with a smile. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quito!

Positive: This is a great choice for visiting Quito! Clean with an amazing staff. Breakfast is just perfect and they go out of their way to teach you about local produce and some of the culture. Walking distance to restaurant's, the main square with markets as well as the Basilica which is a must see from the inside!!! Bank with international ATM on the corner and they are happy to help arrange transportation to and from the airport. This was my second stay. Very quiet at night and the city amenities by day.

Positive: This boutique hotel was a gem! Located in the heart of Quito’s historic Old Town, it felt incredibly secure and welcoming. Breakfast with Lucia was a daily highlight, she serves a traditional Ecuadorian meal and shares stories and culture with it. The young couple running the hotel went above and beyond for us. They booked us cars, dinner reservations and private tours. Their hospitality made our trip seamless and unforgettable.
Negative: Everything was handled with care and perfection. If I “had to” pick something and it’s so small… the bathroom towels were a bit stiff.
Summary: Authentic, warm and effortless this hotel made us feel like we were being taken care of in someone’s home in Quito.

Positive: The property wasn’t as center as other properties, however the staff and the customer service was superb. It made up for any things I could have asked for. The breakfast was made fresh and delicious with fresh juice. It was great!

Positive: Host owner family was very warm and helpful, Old Town style made the stay authentic, safe location near Plaza Grande and good shops and restaurants, rustic style but clean and comfortable, all the basic amenities, wonderful breakfast, felt like stepping back in time in a lovely way.
