Positive: Although it’s been a long time since me and my friend went there (February) it was a memorable stay at this magical hotel! The location is great but the people working there especially the reception are incredible! So kind and willing to help you with whatever you may need! They gave us food and activities recommendations and helped us to store our luggage since we were travelling somewhere else in between our trip!!

Positive: This place is charming. The decor is unique, they serve breakfast on the roof, and they are located right in the heart of the historic district, next to the cathedral with the catacombs. We loved our stay!

Positive: The location being near the main plaza, restaurants and cathedrals made the bare bones room doable. The price was a fraction of what other hotels cost. There was no signage, you rang the bell and were admitted. The historical significance of the building itself was pretty amazing being originally part of the San Francisco Convent complex. The art and stairways were beautiful. We walked out the door and were literally in a processional from the cathedral around the plaza on Good Friday.

Negative: No elevator, no air conditioning, breakfast was subpar, two pieces of bread with lunch meat and cheese and jello. We ate there once then went to a local restaurant for the remaining days. The Ancestral Cafe nearby, was extremely good, beautiful inside with food well presented. Photos included.
