Positive: Spacious, comfortable, clean, safe, family-run accommodation in a country setting with easy access to the Old Town and Venetian Harbour, and local beaches, restaurants, and interesting monasteries. A delicious, varied, and plentiful home-cooked breakfast served to you poolside by Nikos: your charming, knowledgeable, and helpful host who will assist you plan your day. A huge pool, a scenic sea view, and free parking onsite equals excellent value for money. I’m a Canadian travel author and I highly recommend this oasis.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: Such a wonderful accommodation! The location is near the airport and it’s only a short time drive to Chania town. You can also take a bus if not planning to rent a car. Several beaches, taverns and supermarkets nearby where you can go on foot. Service is excellent! Nikos and his family is so friendly and informative. They introduce everything you need for sightseeing, play and food. They always take good care of you. The room is quite spacious and super clean. And it is cleaned everyday just like the first day you come. So impressive.

Summary: Anyway, we highly recommend it and will be here again when we come back

Positive: House Manoleos was honestly beyond expectations. The spacious, clean, bright room with a sea view, an excellent breakfast taken by the pool. Nikos and his family are very nice and friendly. They simply make you feel at home. Nearby is one of the nicest beaches in the area, Kalatha, with wonderful water and usually not crowded. There were enough taverns nearby and for those who want food, 2-3 supermarkets relatively close. It's true, you need a car, but if you go to Crete it's a shame not to have the mobility to visit everything. I would return with great pleasure.

Negative: It's hard to find something you don't like. I can't say anything.

Positive: Our stay at Casa Manolesos was fantastic. Before our trip, we were in touch with the Nikos, and they were able to help us arrange a rental car (though we didn’t end up using it). Communication was great, and we were even able to check in earlier than expected. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and they showed us our room. We were also given a map with important landmarks and recommendations for things to do in the area. The property is well-maintained, with the pool cleaned daily, and our room was always fresh and spotless thanks to the wonderful housekeeping staff. The entire place is thoughtfully decorated, with cozy seating areas, including a charming outdoor shower in the garden. Fresh towels were always available, so you don’t need to bring your own. The bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept wonderfully every night. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of storage, and included amenities like Wi-Fi, a TV, a fridge, and a safe. The breakfast was another highlight. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious, traditional Greek breakfast, freshly made for all guests. It was a great way to start the day! Casa Manolesos is in a perfect location—just 10 minutes from Chania Airport, but still peaceful and quiet. It’s close to a lovely beach (less than 5 minutes by car with easy parking) and a supermarket. Plus, the view of the sea was breathtaking. What really stood out was the incredible hospitality. The staff made us feel like more than just guests—they genuinely cared and made an effort to get to know us. They were always available with suggestions for things to do in the area and made us feel right at home. When an unexpected incident occurred during our stay, they reached out to check if we were okay, which was so thoughtful. On top of all this, there are three adorable puppies on the property, and with two expecting, there will likely be more soon! There’s also a friendly cat that added to the charm of the place.

Negative: We had to leave and get back to the Netherlands again.

Positive: Nikos and his family is very friendly and suggested some day trips to take from there. Absolutely amazing service. Breakfast was to die for. Could honestly eat that breakfast every morning. Cute pets running around and not far from the beach. 100% would recommend for any type of vacation or even work trip :).

Negative: Everything was great. Wouldn’t change a thing.
