OCEAN VIEW, BEACHSIDE! CASA MINGO IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO CREATE AWESOME ISLAND MEMORIES!!
We love this hip, fun, eclectic beach retreat! Within a few minutes you'll have your toes in the sand!
This is a multi-level home with a bedroom up and a bedroom down. One bath up and one down.
Extra living area upstairs, with TV! Great house to gather and spread out as needed.
Casa Mingo is pet friendly and welcomes up to 2 dogs, WITH APPROVAL. Dog(s) must be fully housebroken, on regular flea/tick treatment, well behaved, kept on a hand-held leash at all times while outside private areas, and crate trained. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture at any time, including beds, and guest must plan to crate their dog if away from the home. Guest agrees to pick up all doggie refuse from the property, as it occurs, and dispose of it in a tied bag placed inside garbage bins. Guest agrees their dogs will be clean, with sand removed prior to entering the home. If excessive cleaning and/or deodorizing is needed, extra charges may apply. Cats and other animals are not allowed.
This home has an outdoor shower to wash off in after a long day at the beach!
Family and friends will enjoy preparing meals together in the fully equipped kitchen and sitting on the deck with morning coffee, while watching the sun rise over the ocean...

Unauthorized late check-out will incur a penalty of $150 + tax

Summary: This is a difficult review. We had an easy check-in. Easy to find. The property is unique a bit quirky. What is referred to as the Master has an unusual furniture arrangement and the bathroom is across the hallway so if you were more than a couple it could be awkward, the only locking device for the sliding door is a rod ( same for upstairs balcony) Nice view and very quiet neighborhood. The road is directly to Public Beach access so there are vehicles driving thru early morning. The bathroom had absolutely no place to rest a toothbrush, change of clothes. Everything seemed clean. Our last night we were putting our belongings together and there was a very large roach in the hallway and when my husband went to get it it went into the laundry closet where he found a cluster of dead roaches. We did not use the laundry as we had a short stay. The following morning, my husband pulled his suitcase out of the closet to find a few roaches in his clean clothes. And as he was dressing one jumped on him. What a horror! We live in the South and are aware there are insects but we feel this should have been taken care of prior to arrival. If we were not checking out we would had made a phone call.

Summary: Loved the property and location to beach. Decor was beachy and fun. Really fit what I was looking for in a beach home. Everything was great other than the dryer didn't seem to work. Had to hang towels etc after washing. Couple things also need little handyman work but would return 2nd visit if we could get dryer fixed etc. Great property!

Summary: A beautifully furnished house in a perfect location for beach and local amenities. The house was well stocked with everything our family needed. The Home-Theatre seating and lovely shower were big hits with our family. Would love to stay there again !

Summary: The location was great, beautiful sunrises and close to the beach with excellent views. House was kind of small but fit our needs perfectly. Clean with many new features like furniture and flooring. We loved our morning walks on the beach. Just a few things needing attention were the upstairs sliding glass doors need re-sealing or replaced, a lot of condensation on the glass. Upstairs outdoor light hanging loose needs attached. Very little closet space as most was filled with other stuff like extra bedding and beach chairs downstairs and construction leftovers upstairs. Closets were small to begin with so this made them smaller for use. Washer and drier were leaning to one side so we never used them for fear they would not spin out. The utility closet that they were in was exposed rather than having a door or even curtain, so the mop, broom, wood trim etc were visible. These were all minor thing that just need attention and not enough to make us call management. We would prefer they get fixed before we rent this property again. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
