Positive: We loved our stay here! Brett the owner/proprietor lives on site and is a wealth of knowledge. We were here at the start of rainy season so we weathered some storms, and enjoyed the crazy laser frogs out the window (pew pew). This is a new build so he did a really nice job - big rooms, nice bathrooms, good hot water, super fast WiFi, comfortable bed, super clean. We walked all over town and this is close to a big grocery store, a great pizza place, and only a 15 min walk to the heart of town. Great, casual vibe here.
Negative: Nothing at all. One thing of note, the fence at the driveway looks locked but you just push it to open.
Summary: Great, comfortable place in El Valle!

Positive: Casa Morada is a beautiful place to spend your holiday! The house is beautifully built and decorated (it's a pretty new build and well thought through) and it's close to town but still quiet. Bret was absolutely lovely and helped us with everything we needed and is just in general a really great host! The rooms were very clean and nice and the terrace is wonderful to relax and eat your meals. While it doesn't have a kitchen, Bret helped us out with cuttlery so we could still make our own breakfast and there's a microwave and fridge in the rooms. And, loveliest part is Noah, Bret's dog who likes to come and say hello whenever you're around. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Positive: The host/owner of Casa Morada, Bret was very friendly and helpfull. Jason, a local guy was available for all kinds of information, about trails, local transport and was very helpfull with technical issues with our SIM card. On the last day of our stay in El Valle, we ended up hinking La Silla to see the sunset with Bret and Jason, which was great.
