Positive: We stayed at Casa Rio da Prata for 3 nights and enjoyed every tick of time there! We were looking for a hideaway close by the beaches near Lisbon and found a gem. Alfredo takes perfect care of the property - rooms and facilities are modern and very clean. Sitting outside, enjoying the vegetation of the backyard (including freshly picked figs), swimming in the pool - it all met our expectations. As a surprise bonus, Alredo provided fresh bread, jam, and limes from his orchard on the first morning. The property is a 10 min hike through a beautiful and secluded dune landscape away from the beach - where you tend to be literally by yourself, only joined by the waves of the Atlantic :) We also enjoyed our daytrips by car across the area of Setubal / Sesimbra. All in all, Casa Rio do Prata is a clear recommendation by us!

Positive: A wonderful quiet place with a very kind and attentive owner; we were pleasantly impressed by such thoughtful care, including fresh bread and cheese for breakfast. We were very happy with our stay in this house.

Positive: Exceptional accommodation in a beautiful relaxing setting. 3 well equipped chalets in gardens overlooking good sized private pool surrounded by pine forest and nature, 15 minutes walk through the forest to a superb quiet beach. The host Alfredo went out of his way to ensure a comfortable stay, bringing local bread and cheese on the first morning, clean towels midway through our stay, and even giving me a lift to the local supermarket in Alfarim. The chalet was well designed, very comfortable, well equipped with induction hub, coffee machine, good wi-fi, and good air conditioning. A very relaxing place to wind down for a few days, surrounded by the sounds of birds and crickets, with a friendly local cat. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.
Negative: A little difficult to reach by public transport (although excellent local Uber service), best enjoyed if you have a car.
