Summary: We loved when we'd walked in the unassuming door of this yellow casa what awaited us. This house goes on forever. Its directly across from the American legion where we'd enjoyed breakfast. The house reminds you of a hacienda with its separate guest house and inner courtyard. No stairs, we loved that as well. Elvira the host was responsive and accomodated our requests. She met us and saw us off exactly when she said. Comfortable beds, cool place for small wedding, small group. Short approximate 2 blocks from the wonderful Malecon. Thankyou Elvira, we hope to be back. Our cat really liked it too!

Summary: We are 20+ years VRBO property owners in BC,Canada. We have stayed in short term rentals all over Mexico, Canada, USA and Europe. This booking was done a few days ahead of arrival , and I asked a few questions of the property manager, the important one was check in procedure?? no answer. I finally message them the morning of departure stating we would arrive about 7pm. After about 7 hrs of driving we arrived at 7:05 pm to find I had an email sent after we where on the hi way for a couple hours saying "message them an hour before arrival".... I emailed and she arrived in about 10min. She quickly showed us around and handed us about 10 keys, for various doors. We where 3 adults and had just spent all day on the road. We unpacked our stuff and had no water was available in the house! also the hot water wasn't on....Lazy!! I have never stayed in a short term that didnt provide drinking water, and we had to walk up the street to buy some. Luckily Im familiar with mexican hot water tanks, but when I went to ignited it I discovered someone before us had pulled our the electric starter probe. No lighter in house, so no hot showers night one!! The next morning I had to find a stick, and light it on the stove and use this to light the hot water tank....... I would never have my rentals not ready with fresh water and hot water on a guests arrival !!! This house has a really nice yard with off road parking. This is a awesome Pet friendly property. The parking we could only use 3 out of 5 days as people parked their cars on the street in such a way that we couldn't get into the property. The outdoor space is nice but unfortunately has no furniture to sit and enjoy the sunshine. King Bedroom door strikes installed backward The house has really comfortable beds and linens...lots of towels The kitchen is well equip with a good stove and fridge and lots of extra utensils. Livingroom furniture is reasonably comfortable with good TV(netflix). Excellent wifi., very clean. Great location near the start of the Malecon. Great security , but only having one front door key was difficult to work with with 3 adults not always wanting to go out together Excellent coffee/restuarant 2 blocks away called "45900" Store up the street is very basic....bring supplies and WATER This house has been recently updated and they have made a good start. It could easily become a 4 or possibly a 5 star place with some more furniture, the manger needs to do her job.
