Positive: Brand new property, curated in details by the owner who is also the host. Beautiful and spacious room with balcony and en suite bathroom, on third floor, with common area with kitchen just outside. House is easy 10-12 min walk to city center, just down the road there is a nice local open space food court. 15 min walk there is a big supermarket. Easy to reach and move around. Very kind and responsive/attentive host. Highly recommended!

Negative: It is top up on an older building roof. It should be more clear that they rent rooms with openair kitchen which is shared with hosts as well. There are gaps between the wooden ceiling, yes above it there is another metal ceiling, but gaps are entry points for mosquitos. The toilet has neither door nor a proper wall, which is not a comfortable in such a small room. Neighbourhood is so so. Entry is via dodgy looking, narrow and steep staircase located between two building. It’s way overpriced. (Ignore photo of window frame, different place and my mistake and Incould not remove it from my review:/. ).

Positive: It was a quick, last-minute stop in Puerto Plata, and I found an absolutely amazing place! The hosts were incredibly friendly and made my stay feel so comfortable and welcoming. They also helped me a lot by recommending great places to visit around the area. The room was spotless and felt brand new. And the bed? So cozy I never wanted to get up! I truly loved my stay and would 100% come back! The location was excellent. I could easily walk to all the main places, which made everything very convenient. The beach was super close, and I really enjoyed my stay. I had a great time and would definitely recommend it!

Positive: We had an amazing stay. The room is even nicer in person than in the photos, especially the big windows and the cozy balcony, which we absolutely loved. Everything felt bright and spotless. We also really enjoyed the beautiful plants in the common area; they give the whole place such a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. The location is perfect, very central, and you can walk to everything you need. Shops, restaurants, and the beach are all just a short stroll away. Puerto Plata's historic center is a 10-minute walk. Fortaleza de San Felipe is a 6-minute drive. The Pier is a 9 minute walk. Acapulco beach is 12 minute walk away. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Positive: The furniture and amenities were very modern, and everything I needed was provided. The coffee machine, water dispenser, and air fryer were especially valuable. The bed and blanket were also very comfortable. The location is very central. Minutes of walking of everything, supermarkets, local eateries, ice cream, city centre, beach even a hospital is just around the corner. Safe to walk around. The internet is high speed and excellent to work. The hosts are very helpful and know Puerto Plata really well! The best part was drinking my morning coffee on the balcony with the view of the sunrise over the ocean! Don't miss this place if you come to Puerto Plata!

Positive: Super clean, everything new. Central location, supermarket, hospital, city center and beach in walking distance. The hosts are the friendliest persons ever! The shared kitchen is very well equipped as well. And the wifi is perfect if you need to work.
