Positive: It is very calm and spacious with a private bath in a spectacular location for exploring old town Quito. We previously stayed at The Secret Garden but the noise, shared bathrooms & spaces gets old really quickly. Paulina is a fantastic host who looks after her guests and makes a lovely breakfast.

Summary: Great spot to explore old town Quito and come home to a quiet, spacious refuge.

Positive: Paulina the host was super welcoming, she made sure I had a nice stay, she helped with my Spanish, cooked fantastic breakfast, we went out to eat together on my last day with her family. The location is ideal, walking distance to everything. The suite is big and cheap. Great value ! Thanks Paulina! Oh and the view of the city very is very nice ;)
Negative: The streets are loud, sometimes neighbours play music loud. The bathroom are shared but that’s mentionned in the booking. The WiFi in my room was slow.

Positive: Paolina was very friendly and helpful. She made us feel very welcome. Our breakfasts were delicious. Location is great. Close to restaurants, bars and coffee shops. 15 minute walk to Old town centre. Highly recommend. Great place to stay.
Negative: The hostel down the road has music going most nights but finishes at 11pm on the dot. If you like sleeping before then bring earplugs.

Positive: I loved everything about the guesthouse. From the architecture, to the beautiful view over the city of Quito, to the hospitality and everything you want in a guesthouse. It more than exceeded my needs.
Negative: The only negative was the wifi was unstable.

Positive: Great location to stay to access el Centro historic of Quito. Big rooms and great value.
Negative: The bed was pretty hard and the whole building would shake when a big truck or bus came by. It was hard to find. It was pretty noisy at night, but that’s probably anywhere in Quito.

Positive: The location is great for exploring the city, you can walk to most touristy places. The view is also gorgeous in the evening. Restaurants and cafe nearby. The place itself is simple, but has all you need. The host is very friendly and helpful. This is a great homebase for exploring he city.
Negative: It gets a bit cold in the evening, while the low ceiling between rooms can result in quite a few headbumps if you are taller. It is very easy to lock yourself out, so have the key with you at all times.
Summary: Great location and value for money. Not for the pretentious.
