Positive: Wonderful experience. Units comfortable and beautifully taken care of. Gorgeous estate in the middle of countryside. Wonderfully helpful hosts. Fab pool, the huge sweetest dog. Half an hour from baroque towns like Noto and Ragusa .

Negative: Liked everything. We were there for a week.

Positive: We loved the hosts, who were very friendly and helpful. Also liked the historic nature of the house and grounds, it felt like a real part of old Sicily - very peaceful and atmospheric. The pool was superb! Overall, the apartment had all that we needed and was an excellent base for visiting south eastern Sicily

Positive: Great base to explore the area of SW Sicily and you will need a car. Supermarkets a 5 minute drive away. Beautiful, rustic 300 year old farmhouse and grounds. Lovely clean and private swimming pool even though the jacuzzi wasn’t working. We loved the quiet and privacy. We were housed in the renovated stables which were spacious with excellent bathroom facilities. The host was friendly and helpful.

Negative: On arrival we couldn’t find our host straightaway and wandered into a private part of the house by mistake. Our accommodation felt a little unaired and dusty. I really didn’t like the curtains badly strung up over the windows. A microwave and kettle would have been useful! Some information about Sicily, local places to eat and other places of interest would also have been helpful.

Positive: Lovely atmospheric property in beautiful gardens, great pool for laps. Owner Michele very helpful -provided great local wine. Kitchen basic but fine for simple meals. Perfect spot for exploring the unesco towns of the Val di Noto

Negative: not sure if we got the right room - the description said a garden view but the room was on a courtyard. not a big problem, though as its such a lovely property.
