Positive: First of all, the host Maria is exceptional. Her desire and energy to accommodate is superb and appreciated. The place has a beautiful property with ancient eucalyptus trees, fruit trees, a beautiful pool and patio, great shared living room and paths you can hike on just outside your door.

Negative: For those used to air conditioning, you need to know the rooms don’t have it. The nights are likely often cool most of the time (there is in floor heating which is great if you need it too) v if not you’d need to leave windows and doors open and in our experience this let in some mosquitoes and we got a few bites. The beds are firm so know that too….comfortable but if you like softer beds you should know. Breakfast featured many home made items (the granola was excellent) and was custom made to your preference for eggs and bacon. All in all a great place with caveats noted.
