Positive: Nice, modern, spacious apartment with good views over the Ocreza and Almourão valley. Casas do Almourão are located at the top of the little establishment, directly above the trail leading to the beautiful Portas do Almourão. There were some basics like cereals, milk, some slices of bread and packaged croissants - a nice treat once you arrive and realize the town doesn’t have to offer more than a cafeteria and restaurant.
Negative: The beds were lovely, but had this plastic like undersheet to protect the mattress. Understandable, but making for a slightly lesser sleep.
Summary: Great 2 night getaway to explore the Portas do Almourão and be away from it all.

Positive: a real discovery ! nice, modern appartement with a touch of luxury. well equipped kitchen, nice beds, well decorated seating area with a perfect balcony view. the friendly host and the very closeby restaurant are an excellent plus ! one of the highlights on this year's roadtrip ! thanks !

Positive: The location was breathtaking, the apartment was excellent, very comfortable, big, clean with everything we needed. The owners were very friendly and reachable when needed. All in all 10 out of 10. Absolutely recomendable.

Positive: Rooms are very well appointed, the hosts are incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing has been too much trouble and when you ask something of them they provide it immediately. Definitely have saved our holiday from being a disaster like it began. So much so we have extended our stay twice!
Negative: Turn in access to the apartments could be improved. But this is such a small thing as there is adequate parking just below the rooms.
Summary: If you are looking for tranquility and food for the soul, look no further.
