Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Casco View. It was an easy walk into Casca Viejo and centrally located. The host uses a guesty app to provide room details, apartment codes, etc, so it was a really easy and smooth process to get checked in. The room itself was very clean and well appointed. We stayed on the 6th floor, which is also the floor with the pool, which offered really great views of the surrounding areas. Honestly, the hotel is a very sleek and modern building, surrounded by some rougher buildings. Don't let that deter you though - we felt very safe coming and going, even late at night, and it's only a block or so Santa Ana square. It was a great stay and we'd definitely consider it again next time we stay in Casco Viejo area.

Summary: the hotel itself fine, but the property is located in a very dangerous neighborhood, which i only found out after I was there and 3 different uber drivers told me so. I chose to change hotels for the remainder of my stay and couldn't get a refund, be advised.

Summary: The apartment was beautifully decorated, modern, and clean. The staff are friendly, extremely resourceful, and caring. They went above and beyond to ensure my deliveries, including prescriptions and food, were received. The staff also referred me to a wonderful Logistics Manager who drove and accompanied me to all of my appointments. A top-tier experience. Best customer service I've experienced in years!

Summary: Wow! Just a couple of blocks from the Casco Viejo this place is a gem. Large modern apartments at a very affordable price. Nice pool to enjoy and beat the heat. Bikes available. The concierge service is outstanding.

Summary: One thing to note is that this hotel is part of the "red zone". We didn't run into any issues but be careful at night. It's in a happening spot and because it's a little dangerous, we didn't go out at night and the hotel is not soundproof, so it was a little hard to sleep. Our room also smelled very strongly of smoke and the hot water only lasts for about 2 minutes so take a quick shower.

Summary: The building is great, the apartment was perfect, the staff superbe, and they take care of the building, guests and security. There is a supermarket across the street which makes your life so much easier. The issue, as others have mentioned, is that the building is at the limit of the safe area in the neighborhoods near the casco viejo. There is also a soccer field and some type of local dancing that are always playing something and very loud (obviously Casco View has no control over this). There is public pool one block way if you would like to do laps as the pool in the building is very small. We really enjoyed our stay despite the noise and the location. The walk to the Casco Viejo is manageable, just make sure you have a good hat and water as the humidity will run you down very fast. Lots to see, eat and shop.

Summary: Room was clean, AC was powerful, kitchen was well equipped, and the balcony had a little seating area where we dried swimwear. The pool was lovely and the common area is comfy. The only issue I had was the lack of communication with the staff, they read all of our messages but hardly responded. We had to venture down to get our questions answered. Another thing to note, if you’re nervous about slightly sketchy neighbourhoods, this isn’t the location for you. If you like to see real local life, not just touristy stuff, i definitely recommend Casco View!
