Positive: Case Cassia is a great little house to stay in. It is like a little slice of genuine Maurituis. The house itself is everything you could need, a small living room, comfy bedroom. good sized bathroom with a great rain shower and a kitchen that has all you need to cook. Also there is a washing machine! There is a pool by the owners house which you are free to use, lovely gardens, Two giant tortoise and two lovely dogs. It really does feel homely. Some people have mentioned the road. Well, it is on a road but you did look at the map, right? It is not too busy and the property is double glazed so it did not present a problem for us. What is more important is if you go the other way there is a beach! It really is for the most part deserted giving you a great sense of space and freedom. Some people have mentioned that you can not swim. This is true right at the back of the propert but you do not have to walk far and were advised by the owners where is best. This also goes for the whole island, there are many places where you have to know where is safe. We booked a local stable for a horse ride on the beach, highly recomended. All in we loved our stay. The owner are genuine and welcoming and you are staying in a beautiful part of the country with lots of great stuff to do close by.
Negative: We did not like leaving.

Positive: The host was flexible for checking in/out, quick to respond, and really really nice and always there to help and share her fruit. Her house is in front of our rented house (with the gardens in between). The house is full of natural light. The location is really beautiful, 1 or 2 minutes walk through the garden and you are on a beautiful stretch of sandy isolated beach. The sea spot right in front of the house is shallow, but still nice. For deeper sea walk to the side. And the sand is full of coral and shells which my children really loved. The location is nicer than expected, and nicer than it looks on google maps. True, the house is close to the road (although there is a bit of garden in between), but it was not an issue for us at all. There is an automated gate to enter the property area, so house is secure, although the area still looked safe anyway. The pool is also lovely surrounded by nature and trees. The host also has dogs and tortoises, which the host let us feed, and this is something my kids also loved. Would definitely love to be back someday!!!
Negative: Didnt like checking out, I wished we had more days there :)

Positive: The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. The garden is a dream and they have private access to an empty beach! Helene and Adrian are super nice people and help you with everything you could ask for! You can feed 2 giant turtles, that live on the property.
Negative: The coastal road can be a bit busiy, but if you close the window it’s not a problem to find sleep in the night even if you’re usually a light sleeper.
Summary: Best place you can stay affordable on southcoast of Mauritius.

Positive: The hosts were friendly, the house was clean, fully equipped, very comfortable, located in a green garden.
Negative: A busy main road runs just outside the fence, a lot of noise when you sit on the terrace. The beach is very nice, but there is no possibility of swimming, it is full of seaweed

Positive: The house in a very beautiful garden, 100 m from the see, 15 minutes walk to the wild beach. The house has good equiped kitchen, terrase, two bedrooms with airconditioning. Owner is living nearby. They had two turtles, that are very funny. Property is very safe, has it's own parking. Owner is very frendful, good communicating. The house is clean and also has laundry machine.
Negative: Location isn't the best in Mauritius
