Positive: This place has a special charming. Being in nature in a camping. But the most important thing is how the owner takes care of you, making sure you visit all the iconic places, sunsets.. he helps you to find the cheapest tickets to go on trips and takes you everywhere when needed. He gives his whatsapp contact and stays in touch with you whenever you need it. Thanks for everything Yai. I really appreciate all your help and friendship during this trip

Positive: The location is very close to the centre easy to get some food and walk to the beach. The owner is very helpful and friendly.

Negative: It is a bit dark at night. We are sleeping underneath the cashew nut trees, and at night cashew nuts fall down our tent which makes me Frightened. The tent is very old.

Summary: Good experience sleeping in a tent underneath the cashew nut trees.

Positive: It was okay. Tent was spacious and at the end of the day, you’re staying in a tent. It was only for 1 night so we didn’t mind and it is nice to be in a big garden with nature.

Negative: Stray dogs congregate at the entrance of the site, which made coming in and out of our tent a bit sketchy at night, but I think most of them are friendly and just curious.

Positive: Location was great and the man in charge is lovely. He gave me a free taxi to the pier for my trip out and a last minute free taxi to meet my transfer. He had lots of info and I booked my day trip with him. A very happy man 😊

Negative: I didn't have my own bathroom. However, shared facilities weren't a problem, were clean and I never had to wait. I'm told the bathroom will be added to the room I had this year.

Positive: Kashew Nut Bungalows is one of the most affordable stays on the otherwise resort-filled Ko Muk Island. It is located in a central location, at a walking distance from the Pier, Sivalai Beach and various eating options. The property is owned and managed by the wonderful Mr.Yai, who knows the best places to explore on the island and can arrange transfers and tours for you at decent rates. He also ferries guests around the island on his motorbike if he is free. I stayed in a tent in the property, which was roomy, with electicity and fan. The common bathroom was decent. The island itself is wonderful (though busy!), with various hiking, kayaking and snorkeling options available.

Summary: Nicest owner and most affordable stay at Koh Mook!

Positive: The owner was very welcoming and kind, he took us on a hike on our arrival and the picked us up from the beach for free. He just wants to make sure the guests are happy and enjoying Koh Muk, I think the place is very special. Keep in mind is very barebones, like a tent in the middle of an jungle, but if you don’t mind that, you will be fine.

Positive: The host himself is the best! Very carrying, brings you to the charlie beach when he is free. We also booked a great snorkelling tour with him to the emerald cave and koh kradan (do the tour at 7.30!!! When we left the cave sooooo many people went in, was even hard to swim).
