Positive: Very nice, clean studio. Fridge, small electric hob for cooking, boiling kettle, utensils, etc. Comfy bed, modern compact bathroom. Large ceiling fan, very useful during the day, studio kept fairly cool in the evening due to the stone walls. We took bus from train station to.the village (approximately. 20 mins), short walk up to the main centre. Located on the edge of the beautiful medieval village of Campiglia Marittima, up a small cobbled street, with small flight of steps to the front door. Very chilled vibe, locals were very friendly. Able to get breakfast nearby, very reasonable. A few shops, bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Overlooking countryside and sea in the distance. Host was very helpful, messaged a few times prior to trip, always prompt response. Great place for short break,
Negative: Was sometimes a little dark inside, as only one small window at the front of property (allthough front door had small glass panes,), able to draw back curtains to let in some daylight. Some renovation works taking place on properties above, which unfortunately blocked light from the window. However, the host did make us aware of this prior to our arrival, as we were out most days this wasn't really a problem for us. Disappointed that we had to pay additional 10 euros for 4 towels, as there was nowhere to dry towels once used, only 2 x hooks in the bathroom, so renained damp. Bottle of water in fridge on arrival would have been helpful.

Positive: Room was in the original part of Campiglia very close to the main Piazza Repubblica and its amazing cafe for early morning espresso. Newly baked bread was available at 8am, locally produced mostly Sheep cheese and fresh fruit were all available from shops in or around the Piazza. It was very easy to slip out and buy something before my Yoga Practice at the local Hall. The apartment was finished to a high specification and although small was designed to feel spacious. There was someone to contact on site if I needed anything during my stay or there was a problem.
Negative: Not necessarily didn't like but there could have been some some thought as to providing a bottle of water, some bread or fruit on arrival after travelling. A little thing but always appreciated. It was well equipped except for a chopping/bread board. On the whole it was very quiet, even though close to the town centre, but there was some some disturbance from the family in the room above. There was only one window for ventilation.
Summary: If you are looking for a dive into traditional Italian culture, Campiglia is a great place to stay.
